"Ashes to Ashes": the screenplay

Elena is a thirteen-year-old girl. She is on a spiritual retreat on the mountain of San Francesco in Umbria. Here, during a walk in the forest, she gets lost. "Ashes to Ashes - I panni sporchi si lavano nel bosco" revolves around the protagonist's struggles to rejoin the group. It looks at her existential battle against the natural world and its inhabitants. To help Elena, a little girl comes. She wants to become a saint and claims to have superpowers. The screenplay won the Premio Claudio Nobis awarded by SNGCI - Sindacato Nazionale Giornalisti Cinematografici Italiani.
