The two-year MA is unique in Italy and aims to establish a set of methods to research innovative languages, ideate and design multidisciplinary artistic performances, training professionals able to dialogue and interact with international productions.

Graduates of the two-year MA acquire the theoretical, technical and design tools to begin an authorial, artistic and professional path in the field of contemporary performing arts.

FIRST YEAR

Students are introduced to the world of design for the performing arts through critical theoretical research and the use of interactive tools in the workshop and the creation of multimedia installations. Students will have the opportunity to work on writing materials for stage scenes, to take part in practical physical training classes, to create audiovisual content that dialogues with space and bodies.

SECOND YEAR

The second-year subjects are mainly workshop-based, directed at imparting digital techniques and methodologies to students with particular emphasis on technological and multimedia productions and on virtual and interactive systems. Students will have the opportunity to become acquainted with multimedia design and contemporary dramaturgy practices and to learn about national and international performative production systems and develop digital and live performance projects.
