The NABA London Campus Scholarship is open to applicants to the undergraduate programmes at NABA London Campus — BA (Hons) Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Design, and BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing Management — whose portfolios demonstrate exceptional creative and artistic potential, together with the capacity to grow within a studio-based learning environment.
All three programmes are considered equally within the scholarship scheme, and assessment is based on the portfolio or project work required for the chosen degree.
NABA London Campus Scholarship – How to Take Part
There is no separate scholarship application. To be considered for the NABA London Campus Scholarship, applicants must complete the standard admission process for NABA London Campus.
This includes:
- submitting the portfolio or project assignment required for the chosen programme;
- optionally including a short scholarship statement (maximum 150 words) explaining how receiving the scholarship would support their creative development at NABA London Campus.
The optional statement is not assessed and does not form part of the portfolio evaluation.
In addition, applications must be complete and submitted by the relevant eligibility deadline and must be uploaded via competition.naba.it or sent by e-mail to admissions@naba.ac.uk
NABA London Campus Scholarships are awarded based on the quality of the portfolio submitted as part of the admissions process.
The academic team evaluates:
- Clarity and strength of creative thinking;
- Aesthetic awareness and composition;
- Technical skills and execution;
- Quality of presentation;
- Originality and critical thinking;
- Attention to detail.
Work that is well-developed, clearly conceived and thoughtfully presented — whether visual, written or mixed media — is given particular consideration.
The assessment is qualitative and focuses on creative commitment and potential.
NABA London Campus Scholarship – Scholarship Amount
The NABA London Campus Scholarships are awarded as tuition fee reductions for the first year of study.
They will continue into the second and third years of the programme, subject to the recipient meeting the required academic progression and performance criteria set by the Academy.
The amount varies according to the eligibility round in which the application is submitted:
- First eligibility round (applications submitted on or before 1 May): awards range from £2,000 up to £7,000. Applicants in this round are eligible for the full range of scholarship values.
- Second eligibility round (applications submitted between 2 May and 10 July): awards range from £2,000 up to £5,000. Applicants in this round are considered for the remaining available awards.
The scholarship is structured around two eligibility rounds:
- First deadline: 1 May (for applications submitted on or before this date).
- Second deadline: 10 July (for applications submitted between 2 May and 10 July).
Applications received after 10 July may not be considered for a scholarship.
Successful applicants are informed of the scholarship outcome at the same time as, or shortly after, receiving their admission result. The award will be confirmed with the offer of admission.
To secure the scholarship, applicants are required to:
- formally accept their offer of admission;
- complete the enrolment process by paying the required fee within the indicated timeframe.
If these steps are not completed within the stated deadlines, the scholarship offer will no longer be valid.
