A museum experience has been designed to explore the relationship between the artwork, the context and the audience's experience. "SUI MONTI LA VIA PIÙ BREVE È DA VETTA A VETTA" is a sculpture and painting exhibition by Chiara Maria Suraci and Santiago Sambuci - artists and students of the NABA Visual Arts Department, guided by Marco Scotini (Visual Arts Department Head). From August 5 to 28, the Ala Nuova of the Museo della Città di Rimini hosts a selection of their works.

The NABA emerging artists' works

"SUI MONTI LA VIA PIÙ BREVE È DA VETTA A VETTA" unfolds in the six rooms of the museum. The location becomes homey thanks to Chiara Maria Suraci's and Santiago Sambuci's intervention. Clay is the medium of the first artist. She models such a living material by following her own body movements. Her sculptures strongly link femininity; they shape organic forms and deeply connect with the context. Santiago Sambuci's canvases focus on chromatic strength. Colour and gesture decode the world and the experiences of one's own life. The entire exhibition - curated by Linda Spagnolo Corso - is unusually designed. It does not follow a precise path; it leaves visitors free to create links with showcased works.
