To promote excellence across its academic disciplines, NABA is launching a new scholarship competition designed to support highly motivated and talented international students applying for Bachelor of Arts Degree Programmes starting in October 2026 at NABA Rome Campus.
The competition aims to identify the strongest international profiles while supporting their creative and professional potential. Selected candidates will be awarded scholarships covering up to €7,000 of the tuition fee for BA programmes starting in October 2026 at NABA Rome Campus.
NABA International Scholarships for BA programmes at Rome Campus: eligibility and selection
To be eligible, candidates must hold a valid higher secondary school diploma - or be about to obtain it within the Academic Year 2025/26 - and demonstrate a knowledge of the Italian or English language (according to the medium of instruction of the chosen programme) at least at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Scholarships will be awarded by an Admissions Jury composed of leading Faculty members of the chosen BA programme. The Jury will carry out a qualitative assessment of each candidate's portfolio of projects and motivation letter (artistic statement), evaluating dimensions such as aesthetic awareness, composition, originality, technique, and presentation quality.
NABA International Scholarships for BA programmes at Rome Campus: what to submit
Applications must include an artistic or professional portfolio of 5 to 10 projects, a motivation letter (maximum 500 words), a completed application form, a copy of the high school diploma or school attendance certificate, academic transcripts, a valid passport copy, and a language certificate at B1.2 level or above. All materials must be submitted in English or Italian, in two separate PDF files: one for the portfolio, one for the remaining documents.
NABA International Scholarships for BA programmes at Rome Campus: prizes
Scholarship values vary depending on the candidate's residency status. For international (non-EU) students, awards are calculated against a standard annual tuition fee of €22,250, with scholarships of up to €7,000. For EU students, awards are calculated against a standard tuition fee of €21,850 and are assigned on an income-bracket basis, ranging from €1,000 (1st bracket) to up to €7,000 (6th bracket).
Scholarships cover tuition fees for the first year of the programme and are renewable for the 2nd and 3rd year, provided specific academic criteria are met.

Applications must be submitted by no later than 22 May, 2026, by uploading all required materials via the official competition platform at competition.naba.it. Scholarship results will be communicated within 7-10 working days of submission.
