The NABA Communication Awards - The Identities Square, now in its fourth edition, have been split into two separate events this year, in Milan and Rome. As we anticipate the Exhibition and the public talks scheduled in Rome, set to take place on Wednesday, January 31 at the Opificio Romaeuropa, located at Via dei Magazzini Generali 20/A, we share the winning projects awarded during the Ceremony held in Milan on 23 January 2024, hosted by Patrizia Moschella (NABA Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader) and Fabio Pelagalli (NABA Course Leader of the area Master of Arts in the Milan campus). The NABA Communication Awards provide an exceptional platform to celebrate the projects of students from the Communication and Graphic Design Area (link) of the Academy, which includes Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Art Direction and in Comics and Visual Storytelling, Master of Arts in Visual Design and Integrated Marketing Communication and in User Experience Design, and Academic Master in Sustainable Innovation Communication and in Creative Advertising.

These the awards, by category, conferred to the students by Luisa Gerosa and Caterina Misiti (Municipio 5 Comune di Milano), Francesca Spiller (Reading Room), Nadia Charif (Dentsu Creative) and Sergio Spaccavento (President of the Juries).

NABA Communication Awards in Rome: the Exhibition and the three talks

The NABA Communication Awards continue in Rome from 5 PM to 10 PM on Wednesday, January 31, at Opificio Romaeuropa, Via dei Magazzini Generali 20/A. The event includes an Exhibition and three dedicated talks, the evening will be conducted by Daniele Marrone (NABA lecturer). The Exhibition, open to the public from 5 PM to 10 PM, will showcase the finalist projects from students in Milan and Rome, and the three talks, beginning at 6 PM, will delve into some of the most significant projects of the past Academic Year featuring the participation of faculty members involved, institutional representatives, and students as moderators. The event's partners and related projects in Rome include REF – Romaeuropa festival, featuring "New Graphic Landscape," Orto Botanico di Roma Polo Museale Sapienza, with "Seeds of Arts" and the exhibition "Iter in natura urbis," and Videocittà with "Reinventing Ostiense” in the presence of Amedeo Ciaccheri, President of Rome Municipality VIII. This will be followed by the presentation of the awards by Patrizia Moschella (Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader), Serena Ciriello (Course Advisor Leader of the Two-Year Area Specialists for the Rome campus), and Dionigi Mattia Gagliardi (Course Advisor Leader of the Three-Year Area in Graphic Design and Art Direction).

Admission to the NABA Communication Awards in Rome is free, subject to seat availability, with mandatory reservation.
