An opportunity to reward merit: the Academy joins the project "Milano e Ferragamo per la formazione dei giovani talenti" (“Milano and Ferragamo for young talents' education”) launched by the Municipality of Milan with Ferragamo Spa and Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS. NABA takes part in the initiative, together with Gruppo Salvatore Ferragamo Spa, by supporting the didactic path of one of the four students who attended the Scuole Civiche di Moda e Sartoria of Via Fleming and Via Visconti in Milan. They got a scholarship to enrol in the Academies and Institutes of Fashion.

The scholarship for fashion training

"Milano e Ferragamo per la formazione dei giovani talenti" was born as part of the Patto per il Lavoro. Signed in April 2022, it is the covenant between the Municipality of Milan, the city's leading employers and trade unions. Aiming to improve employment and quality of work, it is a synergy between public and private actors to promote excellence in education, offer professional opportunities and foster the match between young people and companies.

The initiative was presented in Sala Alessi at Palazzo Marino on September 6. On this occasion, Alessia Cappello (Councilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies - Municipality of Milan), Leonardo Ferragamo (Chairman - Salvatore Ferragamo Spa) and Matteo Secoli (President - Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS) illustrated how the project was born. Then, they awarded the scholarships together with the representatives of the Schools taking part in the project (in addition to NABA: Accademia Costume & Moda, Accademia della Moda IUAD and Istituto Secoli). NABA contributes to the scholarship for the enrolment in the BA in Fashion Design, awarded to the next student, Yasmin Morcy.
