NABA takes part to the Virtual Design Festival

NABA is pleased to announce its participation in the Virtual Design Festival, the first international digital design festival promoted by Dezeen in collaboration with Ventura Future, together with other prestigious international academies.

The Festival has chosen to present "Dots", a thesis project by the BA in Design students Chiara Torterolo and Luca Vernieri conceived under the guidance of the BA Course Leader Claudio Larcher, which will be online from April 29th at noon.

“Dots” is an experimentation that reinterprets the famous BS Classic rubber flooring, designed ad hoc by Franco Albini and Franca Helg in 1962 for Milan underground. A material 100% made in Italy, historical, iconic, with a very high graphic and design value chosen for a new collection of furniture made of three tables, three baskets and a console, which completely subverts the normal parameters of its use and redefines its dynamics, context and expression.
The project reflects NABA’s interdisciplinary didactic methodology resulting in a strong inclination towards innovation and a dynamic interaction with the artistic and professional context.

The Virtual Design Festival, open from April 15th to June 30th 2020, was born to allow designers, companies and institutions to present their concepts, projects and products to the international public, even in this unique and particular historical period.
