NABA presents UnExhibit - Event suspended

Following the recent developments regarding the situation related to Coronavirus COVID-19 is evolving, the opening of UnExhibit #2 Waiting Room: the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog planned for February 28th is suspended and will be rescheduled.

NABA proudly presents two different appointments created by NABA students during the Exhibition Design course of the Master of Arts in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies – held by NABA NABA Faculty Elvira Vannini and Marko Tadič.

The aim of the projects was rethinking exhibition-making, leading to a double exhibition appointment, two parallel point of views, two complementary sides of the same question.
An exploration that leads to critically rethinking coexistence through its fundamental mechanisms: language, utopic architecture, history and technology. The exhibited structures and works of art reverse the storytelling process investigating collective methods and generating new ways of looking at exhibition-making in contemporary art.

UnExhibit #1
Somewhere Along the Lines
OPENING:
February 21st, 6:30 pm
Studioeo, Via Giacinto Bruzzesi 25, Milano

In “Somewhere Along the Lines”, different expositive ways create a brand new reticular and polycentric spatial system. The displayed strategies generate a rhizomatic condition of multidirectional patterns, attempting to re-establish the hierarchical gap between man and nature, openly opposing to the typical three shape of the western archive.

UnExhibit #2
Waiting Room: the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Opening: February 28th, 6:30 pm
Studioeo, Via Giacinto Bruzzesi 25, Milano

Society’s many possible crossings and their complexities being reduced to dualistic reasoning are investigated thoroughly, in a display that leads the spectator into an environment where the stratification of languages and encounters intertwine. The exhibition invites its visitors to challenge hostilities trying to stand still while moving through it, crossing it.
