The students of NABA BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction, under the guidance of Creative lab’s lecturers, Antonio Motti and Laura Bottai, created the new communication project for TIMVISION Floating Theatre Summer Fest 2021, which will take place from June 24th to September 9th in Rome. The communication project was completed by the animated video opening of the prestigious Festival, realised by the students of the BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, under the guidance of lecturer Jacopo Martinoni.

The summer festival, conceived and produced by Alice nella Città, the autonomous and parallel section of the Rome Film Fest dedicated to the younger generations, in collaboration with REGIONE LAZIO, will take place within the artificial EUR lake in Rome. The Festival will also include the screening of some of the best short films made by the students of the Academy over the last few years within its programme.

The new visual identity, which includes the Festival logo and its opening video, born to emphasize its message, was conceived by Cristina Novati, Elena Sekulic, Alberto Silvestri, Laura Travaglini, whose project "Breath Again" was selected among the many proposals made by the students during the Creative lab, part of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction study path, for the uniqueness of the message and the relevance for the listener, a way to give voice to the needs of a generation of young people who are protagonists within its programme. The students of the Animation specialisation of the BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, Valeria Farruggio, Jennifer Galli, Patrizia Giacomazzi, Maria Grazia Girau, Andromeda Pintus and Chiara Pozzato, realised in the animated opening video, a dreamy storytelling a few seconds long, consistent with the graphic image.
