NABA takes part to MIND Education project, now in its 4th edition, that will be launched on 13th November at 10.30 am within the dedicated digital event streaming live on MIND Milano Innovation District’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Moderated by Edoardo Nardella, Arexpo Art Director, the panel dedicated to the presentation of the projects created by the students of the BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, under the supervision of its Course Leader Vincenzo Cuccia and Stefania Carbonara, NABA Media Design Academic Assistant, will take place at 11.10 am. The student’s projects were based on the brief that challenged them into the transformation and regeneration of the site that hosted Expo Milano 2015, for the development of projects for MIND Milano Innovation District: a real city in the city that looks to the future with a vision that combines the scientific, academic and environmental care aspects.

Alessia Sauro, Sofia Spotti and Denise Verde, students of the BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, Film Making specialisation, under the supervision of lecturers Simone Sarasso, in the pre-production phase, and Davide Gatti, in the production phase, created a storytelling of Milan’s new district as if it has just been completed. The project aims at communicating the district through the fictional experiences of imaginary people that just started to live inside it, with the creation of bespoke content inspired to social media and Instagram stories aesthetics.

Within their project, the students of Animation specialisation of the BA Caterina Celio, Sherin Kodikarage, Valentina Agnetti and Jinseo Lee, under the supervision of lecturer Jacopo Martinoni, designed a journey through Milan’s past, present and future. Developing the concept of Eco-Renaissance, their animation is born with the aim of showing how the relationship between nature and technology is capable of changing for a better future.

Finally, the students of Game Design specialisation of the BA Lidia Balia, Stefano Bongiovanni, Emanuele Carlucci, Matteo Lombardi, Alessia Manisco, Pietro Mella Bitti, Larissa Negreli and Andrea Squillante, under the supervision of lecturer Francesco Alinovi, present the project for a collaborative board game that turns its players into Innovation District designers, to complete its construction.
