NABA is glad to announce the participation of the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction, under the guidance of NABA lecturers Luca Ferreccio, Fabrizio Bernasconi and Paolo Cazzola, in the 2021 edition of epda JUNIOR AWARD 2021, the prize dedicated to sustainable packaging design that improves the quality of people’s lives.

After a 3 round evaluation process epda’s jury, composed of different experts and professionals in the fields of design, innovation and sustainability, awarded the projects that best fit the award’s brief, that challenged the students to develop an innovative packaging design concept including primary and secondary packaging for either the non-food, food or pharma market.

Congratulations to the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction whose works received the epda JUNIOR GOLD AWARD Rebecca Taveggia, Valeria Turati and Filippo Tondini with their project “GLOB” which presents an innovative packaging based on the idea of allowing everyone to create a sustainable and homemade quality aperitif at home, considering the changes in everyday habits brought by the pandemic.

The students of the BA Ligui Hu, Samantha San Felice, Margherita Soresina were awarded the SILVER AWARD with their project “KEIN”, and Desirée Pintimalli, Noemi Pelligra, Davide Pedrazzini were awarded the BRONZE AWARD for “BIT”. Denise Cattolico, Laura Sparacio and Eleonora Tucci’s project “DELA” obtained the Special Mention.
