Riccardo Sgaramella, alumnus of the BA in Set Design took part to the events Teatro alla Scala dedicated to the holiday period, as part of the programme "Wolfgang Amadeus and the great musical fairy tales". These events were part of the project “Great Performances for Children”, with the stage coordination of Lorenza Cantini.
NABA alumnus curated the sketches for the realization of the animals’ silhouettes, whore by the actors for “The carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saën and “Eine kleine Nachtmusik K 525” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, streamed live on Teatro alla Scala official channels on January 1st.
On January 6th,“The story of Babar” by Francis Poulenc and “Symphony No. 29” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, were live streamed as well. Riccardo Sgaramella took part to these shows with the creation of an illustrated video animation designed in silent movies style, projected on the screen near the proscenium of the stage, accompanying the narrator and the orchestra.
