Being twenty at the time of Coronavirus: a sound diary

Being twenty at the time of Coronavirus (original title Avere vent’anni ai tempi del Coronavirus) is a podcast curated by professor Rodolfo Sacchettini and the students of the Audio documentary course of NABA BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts. Starting from April 9th, every Thursday for five weeks, a new issue including 10 episodes has been released, to conclude with the bonus appointment on Thursday 14th May, the international episode by the teacher of the international class Jonathan Zenti.

Discover them all on the NABA Podcast channel
Between fears and uncertainties, boredom and dreams, but also the wish to understand and be together, a group of twenty-year-olds tells the unique audio tale of their own private quarantine, in a collective sound diary that represents an entire generation. From the sudden closure of the red areas to the travel to get back home, from the intimate and private voice of the students to the news that comes from family, friends and the media, each episode in a few minutes collects stories and thoughts, sounds and music.

Professor Rodolfo Sacchettini, who guided students in this project encouraging them to tell stories about themselves and others, is a critic and curator in the fields of contemporary theater and radio. He has collaborated, among others, with Rai Radio 3 and Radio Toscana Classica. Artistic co-director of the Santarcangelo Festival (2012-14), he is one of the founders of Altre Velocità, a group of observers and theater critics.
