Required Admission Documents

Applicants interested in applying to NABA London School must meet specific entry requirements. Below is a checklist of the necessary documents for your application:

  • Application form BA Courses applications should normally be made through UCAS *
  • Certified academic records:
    - Original notarized copies of secondary school diploma and certificates*
    - If documents are not in English, an official English translation is required
  • I/GCSE with 4/C** in English. Applicants are required to provide proof of their English language ability. The English test score should be at least B2 on the CEFR level (e.g. IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, no less than 5.5 for each element)
  • Passport copy (clear, legible scan of the photo page)
  • Signed personal statement
  • Portfolio of evidence and/or project assignment (if applicable)

*80 UCAS points or minimum marks in one of the following most common qualifications

Admissions and Entry Requirements – Level 4

To be eligible for admission, applicants must satisfy the following entry criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 at the start of the course.
  • Academic Qualifications, applicants must hold one of the following:GCE A-Levels: Two A-Levels at grade BB
    - BTEC National Extended Diploma: MMP
    - Scottish Highers: Three Highers at grade B
    - Irish Leaving Certificate: Four Highers at grade 4
    - Foundation Diploma with Pass
    - International Baccalaureate (IB): 26 points
    - US High School Diploma: Minimum GPA 2.5, plus one of the following:
  • Two AP tests with an average grade of 4
  • SAT score of 1200
  • ACT composite score of 25 (minimum 20 in each section)
  • Completion of 1st year at university/junior college
  • English Language Proficiency
    - B2 (CEFR level) English qualification. VISA students must provide IELTS UKVI (Academic) 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5
Alternative year of entry

Students with prior higher education experience may be eligible to enter directly into Year 2 (RQF Level 5) of our BA (Hons) Design programme. This request must go through a process called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) which enables NABA and Regent’s University London to endorse the knowledge and skills that students bring with them when they embark on a programme of study. During the admissions process BA applicants will be additionally required to submit a RPL form (available from the Admissions office upon request).
