More than a surface

We try to use linoleum in a new way, changing it from plane to solid. By gluing, cutting and sculpturing linoleum, we created a hand-made stationery set. Designed for office use, Moonlight creates an environment for meditation and rest. Each element looks like a single piece, but you can open them and hide your secrets or put the good and the bad moods inside there.

Soft-linoleum is a soft material made from two sheets of furniture linoleum combined together and filled with foam. Inspired by the Japanese “Tatami”, which is a soft flooring system. Related to the working environment, soft-linoeum aims to improve relaxing areas adding softness to different volumes and surfaces.

Playstationary is the collection of the small useful/useless accessories for the table. It includes: A4 size box with cover which can be used as mousepad, cap pad mats for a big coffee break, pencil box, small cases which can become a business card holder.

Tacos is a magazine rack minimally designed to take advantage of furniture linoleum’s potential: fair flexibility, wide range of colours, thin sheets that look elegant and sophisticated. It consists of two elements, a thin metal clip that acts as a load-bearing structure that blocks the disk. The propension to go back in place of the disk created a push towards the outside sufficient to block the lino.

Dorico Moderno is a set of vases, which changes depending on how they are flipped over or stacked. The intent is to use the full range of colors that Forbo manufactures and to transform a two-dimensional material into three-dimensional objects: first by glueing and then by lathing solid blocks of bulletin linoleum.

This proactive table lamp is designed for a playful and adjustable work environment. Linoleum being eco-friendly, heat resistant and having multiple colors makes it an ideal material for the surface of the lamp. The 15 pieces can be personalized in any combination for the user according to their preference.

Leubra is born from the process of testing linoleum as a flexible and malleable material. It is a panel partition that, through the weave pattern of material, let us glimpse the work enviroment that surround the worker. Placing it on the work desk creates a personal and reserved atmosphere. It is a versatile object, as it can be easily moved and positioned, as well as because of the hinged lateral shutters.

Roll.ette is a tool box designed to keep table top stationary in an office. The modular design of the opening can be used for various office storage elements, giving shape to a part of the office environment.

Flessifiore, is a blooming flower, which acts like a decorative stationary container for an office working desk. This design can show flexibility and softness of linoleum. Every flower is independent since it is made of a single linoleum piece, and it takes its final form by using glue on the edges.
