During the prize-giving digital event that took place last July 9th, Novartis Ophthalmology selected the best projects that the students of the Creative Lab from the third year of NABA BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction created for the brand. The students developed their projects based on the company’s brief revolving on age-related macular degeneration in order to realise a visual storytelling through ultrasound scans from the diagnosis to the result of the therapy, to represent the positive evolution of the pathology throughout images.

Mariagrazia Ribatti, Inka Mantovani, Giovanna Sardina, and Marco Sechi’s project was selected as the best one for clinical communication, while Sofia Norgaard Manara, Alice Mignogna, and Martina Sara Pennino’s was awarded as the most effective for the patient-oriented communication; lastly, the project by Yuki Jifuku, Giulia Lissoni, Gregorio Giudici, Joaquin Lopez, Elisabetta Luisotto won the prize for the best storytelling.
