The brightness of the "hearth" dresses up the Polifonic Festival's private spaces. NABA Design Area has devised and developed the "Textile islands", which integrate the Natuzzi's "Terra" pouffes of the "The Circle of Harmony - 2nd Life" collection. The setting will welcome the festival audience during the two dates at Masseria Capece (Brindisi), on July 29 and 30.
The NABA installation at Polifonic
The "Textile Islands" are installations bringing an imaginary and evocative world where one can stay. They are chromatically arresting places where NABA carpets are the main element. Made with Natuzzi's waste yarn, carpets shape intimate and cosy spaces thanks to pouffes and bright "bonfires". Project is by Claudio Larcher (Design Area Leader), Manal Abu Monassar (NABA Design Area Academic Assistant), Natascia Fenoglio (NABA lecturer); students Ottavia Ferraris (BA in Design), Sara Millozza (MA in Social Design), Cecilia Raimondi (MA in Product and Service Design) took part in it. Such an intervention renews the collaboration, already seen in 2019, between NABA and Polifonic - an event dedicated to electronic music, art, diversity, internationality and positive communities.
