How audio generates the visual and vice versa: synesthesia is the focus of "Musica e Immagine: che aspetto ha il suono?". The symposium is part of the Live Cinema Festival, and Rome campus students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction will attend it. On September 24, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the project "Nuova Sperimentazione" will be screened at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in via Nazionale 194.

The showing of "Nuova Sperimentazione" as part of the symposium

"Musica e Immagine: che aspetto ha il suono?" is curated by Claudio Guerrieri. Authors, curators and artists discuss the synaesthetic relationship between sound and image in real-time audiovisual performance. Thanks to "Nuova Sperimentazione", NABA plays a role in an international event. The video is the result of the filming of "Heart Vibes", "Black Cloud" and "Alice in Wonderland" - three performative installations already presented at Cosmo Trastevere in June. Realised during the Computer Art course held by lecturers Lorenzo Pagliara and Gianmaria Zonfrillo (founders of the MOTOREFISICO duo), the project combines performance, digital art, design and sound engineering. All these creative disciplines are held together by an idea of communication as a constantly mutating body. Assunta Squitieri (BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction Advisor Leader at the Rome campus) and NABA lecturers Lorenzo Pagliara and Gianmaria Zonfrillo will participate in the symposium; while Claudio Guerrieri will moderate it.
