The human and design relations established between students and lecturers are at the core of "L'Allievo. A dialogue between generations of NABA designers" - the Academy's exhibition on the occasion of Fuorisalone 2023. The projects of students and alumni of the Design Area and those of designers, all lecturers at NABA, will be presented during the Milan Design Week event created by Alcova. The exhibition will take place at the Ex Macello di Porta Vittoria Area, viale Molise 62, in Milan. It will be open from April 17 to 23.

The exhibition at Milan Design Week 2023: concept and credits

Practical activities and the relationship between individuals are the basis of learning as well as teaching. Here is also the essence of the NABA exhibition at Fuorisalone 2023. From learning by thinking to learning by doing and teaching by learning: in this continuous sequence of multidisciplinary experiences generating research and projects lies the methodological approach of the Academy. The exhibition comes from the dialogue between the iconic products of some of the leading figures in the world of contemporary design, all lecturers at NABA, and the outputs of the students and alumni of the Academy's Design Area.

The exhibition is an idea by Claudio Larcher (NABA Design Area Leader) and Italo Rota (NABA Scientific Advisor).

The project is by Claudio Larcher himself with Sovrappensiero Design Studio, designers and NABA lecturers.

The designers and NABA lecturers taking part are Andrea Mancuso - Analogia Project, Thanos Zakopoulos - CTRLZAK Art & Design Studio, Andrea De Chirico, Niko Koronis, Giacomo Moor, Donata Paruccini, Matteo Ragni - Matteo Ragni Design Studio, Sara Ricciardi, Valerio Sommella, Philippe Tabet, Marco Zavagno - Zaven.
