NABA explores innovative entertainment and academic activities by launching its own Twitch channel. This project will host the "Manuelito Back to School" on April 6 and 8 at 5:30 PM. These two live broadcasts will be the starting point for a programme full of events.
From Manuelito to the NABA schedule, the launch of the Twitch channel
"Manuelito Back to School" comes on NABA's Twitch channel for the last two live broadcasts. During the April 6 event, Manuelito will be in the new Virtual Studio of the Milan campus. The class will focus on XR and explain Virtual Production's techniques and technologies. On April 8, the live streaming will move to Aero Gravity to decline the concept of Extended Reality in an experimental DJ set from the flight tube. An innovative motion capture system will activate digital elements through music. These two events will end the study and research project of the BA in Creative Technologies.
The final live shows of "Manuelito Back to School" are the bridge to NABA's Twitch channel schedule. The pilot programming will start on Wednesday, April 13. It will be carried out by NABA lecturers and staff and involve the students themselves. According to the learning by doing methodology, the new channel will explore new kinds of entertaining and educational activities.
Curated by NABA lecturer Igor Muroni, "CaFFeLuNGo" will offer a programme of interviews and DJ sets focusing on sound art, cinema and the fashion universe. "Game lounge" - with NABA lecturers Francesco Alinovi and Francesco Toniolo - will see the active participation of the Media Design and New Technologies Area students. Here Game Designers and guests will analyse and explain the professions in the world of video games. Finally, Stefano Saviozzi (NABA Domestic Enrollment Manager) will feature the format "Meet NABA", dedicated to the orientation and presentation of the academy.
