NABA takes part to the most important events of Italian fashion scheduled for September 2020, confirming the Academy’s strong link with the main national and international institutions.

The first event will be Altaroma, the institution promoting Roma Fashion Week, to wich NABA will take part digitally, streaming the video “NABA Students’ Fashion Film” on September 16th at 5 pm onto the dedicated platform altaromadigitalrunway. The video is a collection of fashion movies conceived by NABA BA students in Fashion Design, within the online version of lecturer Giulia Achenza’s course in Fashion Video that took place during the lockdown. This peculiar experience was the main inspiration for the student’s projects leading them to the creation of surreal diaries, filmed using fashion as a language to give a new voice to their emotions and sensations. The Academy will also take part to Fashion Graduate Italia, in its innovative digital edition, alongside with the other ten schools part of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda (PSFM), that will follow one another streaming their videos live as part of the Milan Fashion Week. PSFM collaborates with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana once again, with the aim of enhancing the value of Italian and international fashion schools system. Inside the FGI 2020 dedicated platform, part of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s website, the Academy’s Fashion Design Area presents its DNA through a selection of its student’s works, through a video introduction to the world of NABA enriched by interviews to its students and through a Fashion Film, collecting the most interesting projects of Fashion Design Area.
“NABA Fashion View - Sound of Fashion” will offer its preview inside FGI palimpsest on September 24th at 6.30 pm and will be available inside FGI digital platform until the end of the Fashion week. Discover the platform Here, in the next days.

Lastly, on September 27th NABA will take part to Milano Moda Graduate, the event promoted by Camera Nazionale della Moda. Alumnus Andrea De Luca’s capsule collection will be on the runway, alongside with BA in fashion design student Lucia Grande’s outfit, selected for the YKK prize.
