The Academy proudly presents the first edition of NABA Communication Awards, the initiative meant to decorate the best projects created by the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction, of the MA in Communication Design and of the Academic Master in Creative Advertising, and to celebrate the evolution of languages, styles and means of communication. The award ceremony will take place on December 10th at 6 pm, live streaming on NABA YouTube channel.

The winning projects of the 15 categories, divided between creativity and crafting, were selected by a jury composed of professionals and experts within the fields of creativity, design, advertising, publishing and production. The awarded categories are Animation, Digital Publishing, Experimental Visual, Press Campaign, Outdoor Campaign, Illustration, Motion Graphic, Logo Design, Editorial Design, Packaging Design, Digital ADV, Future Scenarios, Video Campaign, Brand Identity and Integrated Campaign.

The jury along with the members of the Academy’s Faculty, including Patrizia Moschella, Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader and Sergio Spaccavento, NABA Lecturer, also selected the winner of the Grand Prix, the special prize dedicated to the best project among all of the categories.

In addition, the best projects have been awarded with the special prizes. The winner of the Killing Brief category, promoted in collaboration with that Acer, world leader in the ICT sector will receive a ConceptD workstation, the brand new products conceived for content creators. The BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction dedicated three special prizes to the Best Student of the first, the second and the third year and to the Best Lecturer as well. Lastly, the Davide Bombonato Award, born from the collaboration with Dolci ADV, has been dedicated to the NABA alumnus and agency’s collaborator who recently passed away. This particular prize will award the best thesis project and its winner with the opportunity to do an extracurricular internship at Dolci ADV.

The best projects will be published in a catalogue with the graphic design by blisterZine that will collect the reflections of the contest’s jurors revolving on the theme The New Creative Generation. Coded and decoded, in a panoramic on the constantly changing technologic codes and its consequences on new creative languages.
