NABA is glad to present, on June 21st at 6 pm, the public talk “NABA meets Bomba Dischi”, taking place in the outer space of its campus in Rome, to allow broad and safe participation.
The panel will address the genesis of Bomba Dischi, the Roman record label, its activity, its mission and communication methods, the choices that have been made and how they turned out or generated critical issues and resistance, and how its work has evolved, both in the creative aspects of talent scouting and care of their artists, and in terms of workflow and organisation. The focus will also be on the human side, an unpredictable part of their unique path.
The four founding members of Bomba Dischi Christian Briziobello, Davide Caucci, Emmanuele Di Giamberardino, and Alessandro Ricci, will take part in the talk, that will be moderated by journalist and television author Alberto Piccinini, in a dialogue to discover what lies behind the genesis and the identity of such a label and how it interacts with young artists.
Bomba Dischi is an independent record label born in Rome in 2012. During almost ten years of life, it also has become a management, booking and publishing company. Bomba Dischi's mission is to promote new music, mainly created by debut musicians. In their rooster, among others, there are names like Calcutta, Franco126, Giorgio Poi, Ariete, Pop X, Psychologists, Mèsa.
