NABA is glad to announce that the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction realised the new visual identity for the Agency for Local Public Transport for the Metropolitan City of Milan, Monza and Brianza, Lodi and Pavia.

After a first collaboration on the occasion of the Digital Design Marathon 2020, promoted by the Academy, the Agency and NABA worked together for an entire semester, in a project that involved the Agency director Luca Tosi and his staff, and 52 students of the third year of the BA, within the Future Scenarios course, under the guidance of NABA lecturer Giulio Bordonaro, and with the supervision of Patrizia Moschella, Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader.

Trasportiamo”, along with a graphic sign inspired by the interconnection of the four territories of its competence, is the Agency’s new name, to be combined with its formal and institutional name, until now difficult to use in communication contexts due to its length. It represents the essence of his coordination, focusing on people and their movement needs.

Congratulations to the students Alessandra Fonti, Luca Luoni, Giulia Patrono, Federica Sartorio and Edoardo Villa, who conceived "Trasportiamo", awarded as representative of the essence of the Agency's work. From the preliminary analysis to the final presentation, the group has shown great attention to the expectations of local public transport users and the organisation's own directorial and planning work, combining the approaches in a clear and explanatory name. Their proposal was found perfectly suited to its institutional profile this constituted the strongest element - together with the characteristics of graphics and colors - in assigning the first place to the project, selected from the 12 proposals presented.

A special mention was also assigned to students Paolo Anesi, Lorenzo Arosio, Andrea Bianchi, Christian Borghi for their interesting and stimulating work revolving around the future scenarios of Local Public Transport.

It is possible to relive the prize-giving moment on NABA’s YouTube channel.
