NABA in collaboration with Alessi, a historic Italian design agency, presents the results of “Gentle is”, which involved the students of the third year of the BAs in Design and Fashion Design invited to develop their projects revolving around the theme of kindness in a non-conventional way. The students of NABA BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts realised the video storytelling of the entire path.

The students’ proposals were conceived under the supervision of lecturers Lorenza Branzi and Cecilia Dosi, and Nicoletta Morozzi, NABA Fashion Design Advisor. The project aimed at exploring kindness as a project theme, chosen as a common thread that is part of human behavior, to give it a chance of taking shape and conveying its message through physical objects.

Congratulations to Sofia Biondi, Silvia La Monica, Lucrezia Venturelli, students of NABA BA in Design, whose project “SLS 50’”, a set of kitchen objects characterised by little “flaws”, part of an aesthetics that contemplates the “un-perfect”, was awarded the Jury Prize in the 2021 edition of NABA Design Award, the annual event celebrating the best projects of the Academy’s Design Area.

The dedicated video realised by the students of the BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts will be available on NABA social media soon.
