NABA is glad to present “Ephimera. Dialoghi sulla Moda” edited by Sofia Gnoli, fashion scholar, journalist and NABA lecturer of the BA in Fashion Design in the Rome campus, in the live presentation that will take place on February 23rd at 6.30 pm on NABA’s YouTube channel. The panel is the third Talk part of the initiative Books at NABA, born to present each time a different book curated by a member of NABA Faculty, connected to the Academy’s disciplines.

“Ephimera. Dialoghi sulla Moda”, published by Electa Editore, holds fashion as its protagonist, picturing it through its many facets. The book is born from a series of conferences promoted by Parco archeologico del Colosseo at the Curia Iulia of the Roman Forum, right at the heart of roman civilisation, between 2019 and 2020, that involved the participation of many art directors, artists, essayists, scholars and journalists, to elaborate on contemporary aspects, each one from his own perspective.

Through many contributions, Ephimera depicts fashion, its changeability and unpredictability, and its unique way to keep on charming us, between past and present, ephimeral and eternal.

The Talk will be a dialogue between Sofia Gnoli, Colomba Leddi, NABA Fashion Design Area Leader, and Bonizza Giordani Aragno, curator, costume and fashion scholar, that proposed her reflection on the connection between fashion and photography through its milestones starting from the Risorgimento in the essay “Sguardi italiani: la fotografia di moda in Italia”, within the book.

The panel will be available on February 23th at 6.30 pm on NABA’s YouTube channel.
