Promoting female employment and equal opportunities in the world of art, design, and creativity: this is the ambitious goal of the “Carolina Herrera x NABA: Supporting Women’s Creativity” project, launched by the Academy in 2024 as part of the international programme Carolina Herrera for Women in the Arts.
Open to female students as well as individuals who, while not identifying with the gender assigned at birth, identify as women and have activated an "Alias" career at the Milan and Rome campuses, this important initiative saw numerous participants—all enrolled in the third academic year 2024/25 of a NABA Bachelor of Arts—challenge themselves with the visual reinterpretation of Carolina Herrera’s iconic “Good Girl” fragrance stiletto, exploring every possible creative approach.
A symbol of empowerment and femininity, the iconic bottle was reimagined both through traditional artistic techniques and the most innovative digital technologies. This process led to the creation of original and diverse materials—videos, images, panels, visuals, special objects, and moodboards—which were then assessed by an internal jury that selected the most innovative and deserving projects. Up for grabs for the authors of the winning projects were two Prizes of Study and the opportunity to take part in an HR coaching session with the Puig HR team at the Milan office, offering valuable preparation for entering the world of work within multinational companies.
