Intermediate level

Learning by doing a mix of theoretical lessons, field trips and practical workshops, the aim of the course is the analysis of visual merchandising strategies for showrooms, concept stores, mono- brand stores, and department stores.  Students can understand the basis of fashion business and fashion buying, retailing and merchandising as a result of the analytical and critical teaching approach used during the course. Students will learn how to develop an idea to realize their own retail strategy as final project.

 

Objectives

During the course, students could:

  • Learn the most recent fashion industry developments,
  • Understand the tools used to create a strategic language for fashion brands,
  • Analyze the strategies of a Fashion Brand.
