The NABA research project "ARS Augmented Reality Multi-User Virtual Spaces / The Virtual Production and the Future of Learning," initiated in March 2022 and developed in collaboration with SAE Institute Belgrade, is reaching its final stage. Created within the framework of Partnerships in vocational education and training, supported by the Erasmus+ programme, it stems from the need, intensified by recent events, to develop new and effective forms of remote collaboration both professionally and educationally. Indeed, it investigates and experiments with the potential of Virtual Production through the hybridisation of physical and digital elements, serving distant learning paths based on the didactic methodology of "learning by doing". At the end of the journey, the Augmented Reality (AR) devices used in classroom, along with a manual on the usage processes for the university training, will be integrated into the curricula of the Media Design and New Technologies Area  of the Academy.

ARS for Erasmus+: Results and Dissemination

The project, which was publicly launched in October 2022, will conclude with the dissemination of the results obtained on the NABA campus in Milan (Via Carlo Darwin 20): from the 11 to the 15 of March 2024, several events are scheduled for students and professionals in the field, including a masterclass for students of the MA in Creative Media Production, the BA in Creative Technologies, and the BA in Film and Animation, a masterclass in Italian and one in English for industry professionals, and finally a roundtable open to the public (15 March, from 5 PM to 8.30 PM) which will feature the participation of teachers and guests to discuss the themes of the project in depth.
