NABA is glad to announce its collaboration with Siemens Home Appliances, the European leader for home appliances in high-end kitchens, with the project “Siemens: Prototype The Future”, presented at the Press Conference that took place on December 2nd  at 11 am, remotely.

“Siemens: Prototype The Future” will challenge the students of the Space Design course, part of the MA in Interior Design, under the guidance of architect and NABA Lecturer Francesco Librizzi, in the development of a prototype designed to combine the needs dictated by the revolution we are experiencing in the interior design, with the vision of the German brand. The lockdown imposed, in fact, a new way of conceiving and living in our houses, which have now become offices, schools but also places where to cultivate conviviality and interpersonal relationships.

NABA students will be involved in the creation of the layout for an environment that combines several functions in one and that represents an innovation in the current panorama of domestic living as well as in the interaction between spaces and appliances. The best project will be selected and the winning team will have the opportunity to realise its prototype and to present it to the public.

During the whole project, based on the idea of Ogilvy Italia, a dedicated digital campaign will share its evolution onto Siemens Home Appliances’ social media. At the same time, thanks to the collaboration with Indiana Production and its experience in innovative narrative formats, a documentary that illustrates the creative process will be created.
