NABA is glad to announce that the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction were the winners of the epda JUNIOR AWARD 2020, dedicated to good design and functional packaging that improves the quality of people’s lives.

epda’s jury, composed of different experts and professionals in the fields of design, innovation and sustainability, awarded the projects that best fit the award’s brief, that challenged the students to design a packaging with a second life, blending the need of consuming less and differently with the features packaging needs: to protect goods, to communicate product information and brand values. The students’ projects were designed using natural resources in order to create packaging to be re-usable or upcyclable.

Congratulations to the students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction whose works received the epda JUNIOR AWARD 2020 (ex aequo): Catalina Cazac, Alessandro Fera and Camilla Fracassi with their project for a re-usable food delivery packaging; Leon Accurso, Giovanni Caglio and Panpan Wang, with a concept for a mask packaging, re-usable and with a strong communication value; and Valentina Aquilini, Alessandra Negri and Corinna Parravicini that within their project designed re-usable packages to contain masks with the shape of small sport balls (golf, tennis, etc.).

In addition, this year’s jury Nomenees decorated the projects by: Greta Giacomelli, Matteo Fantacia and Valerio Pastafiglia; Alessandra Morandi, Mattia Giannetta and Emma Renaldin; and And Cerit, Batu Kantarci and Mariana Teixeira.
