Performance and digital art meld immersive and meaningful atmospheres. "Nuova Sperimentazione" is an event focusing on multimedia projects by Rome campus students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction. It is a free access event and will be held on June 7, at 6:00 PM, at Cosmo Trastevere - a contemporary art venue in Rome, Piazza di Sant'Apollonia, 13.

"Nuova Sperimentazione" combines performance and digital art, design and sound engineering. The idea of communication as a constantly changing body holds together all these languages. Three works will reverberate in Cosmo Trastevere as an interweaving of lights, images and sounds: Heart Vibes, Black Cloud, and Alice in Wonderland. In summarising, their concepts are the contrast between the human being's naturalness and digital mechanics, a suggestive technological storm, and the analogy between Lewis Carroll's worlds and the absurdity of the current one.
Vincenzo Ciaccia, Lorenzo Scaramucci and Simone Guerra are the students who worked on Heart Vibes. Black Cloud is a project by Raffaella Ambrosio, Alessia Martinelli, Noemi Murtas and Francesco Sabatino. While, Alice in Wonderland is by Chiara Bozzaotra, Alessia Cacucciolo, Annalisa Mosca and Federica Vecchi. All of them are part of the 'Stanza 303' collective. The event is curated by the MOTOREFISICO, a duo by NABA lecturers Lorenzo Pagliara and Gianmaria Zonfrillo. While, the sounds are handled by ARSSALENDO (Sound engineer). Assunta Squitieri (BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction Advisor Leader - Rome) coordinated the event. A special thanks goes to Dario Niglio, Valerio Polici and the technical sponsor, Mama Event.
