The opportunity to discover an intense learning experience involving the Rome campus students of the BA in Fashion Design: "Fashion Poetry" takes part in Fashion Film Festival Milano (FFFMilano). The documentary by director Silvia Morani is in the international fashion and culture event programme from 12 to June 19. Two ways to enjoy it: via streaming by signing up on the FFFMilano website and through the Spatial platform Metaverse.
NABA at the Fashion Film Festival Milano
"Fashion Poetry" captures the workshop with Olivier Saillard (fashion historian and curator, NABA lecturer) and the performance by Axelle Doué (model and performer). Those didactic activities were held at the Academy's Rome campus in the winter of 2021. The documentary is one of the audiovisual projects that will take part in the festival founded and directed by Constanza Etro. The ninth edition is celebrated in collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the patronage of the City of Milan. On this occasion, it will be possible to discover more than 270 fashion videos made in over 50 countries thanks to the free streaming platform. In addition, a fashion film festival will land on the Metaverse for the first time ever. The virtual space created by RED-EYE with the creative direction of Gloria Maria Cappelletti (editor in chief - RED-EYE Metazine, curator - FFFMilano, lecturer at NABA) will allow meta-spectators to interact with other avatars. Here, they can attend the showings and discover those films made with artificial intelligence and Web3 technologies. To conclude, the best videos will be awarded at the Odeon Cinema in Milan on June 19 night.
