NABA Design Award - Event Suspended

Following the recent developments regarding the situation related to Coronavirus COVID-19 is evolving, NABA Design Award at the Triennale Milano – Teatro is suspended and will be rescheduled.


Naba Design Award returns, on March 2nd at 7 pm at the Teatro di Triennale Milano. The award ceremony, open to the public, is meant to decorate the best design projects carried out by NABA students of the BA in Design and the MA in Design - Product Design and Design - Interior Design during last academic year.

The jury called to evaluate the individual projects will be composed of professionals and journalists from the world of design such as Marco Sammicheli, International Relations Chief Officer of Triennale Milano, Interni Magazine’s editor Katrin Cosseta, designer Giulio Iacchetti, architects Riccardo Crenna and Simona Flacco founders of simple fair, as well as representatives of the Academy including Italo Rota, NABA Scientific Advisor, Dante Donegani, NABA Design Advisor, Luca Poncellini, Design and Applied Arts Department Head and Claudio Larcher, NABA Design Area Leader.

The award for the Best Project of the year will be complemented by the 11 categories: BA Interior project; BA Product project; MA Interior project; MA Product project; Photo; Drawing; Technics, materials and innovation project; BA Interior thesis; BA Product thesis; MA Interior thesis; MA Product thesis.

The winning projects in each category will receive a trophy designed by Claudio Larcher and inspired by the anniversary of the Bauhaus centenary, while the winner of the Best Project of the year prize will be awarded with a notebook by Acer, the brand that already started a collaboration with the Academy.
