Environmental changes and their implications are at the core of the global debate. NABA's Communication and Graphic Design Area tackles the topic by analysing the link between communication and sustainability. On June 9, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the talk "Il Comunicatore: nuove competenze per partecipare/collaborare alla transizione sostenibile" will involve Paolo Taticchi, vice-dean and professor of business strategy and sustainability at University College London. It will be possible to follow it through this link. The talk will be on NABAevents - the Academy's platform broadcasting meetings and webinars by lecturers, students and alumni.
From lectures to the Master: NABA and environmental sustainability
By opening "Il Comunicatore: nuove competenze per partecipare/collaborare alla transizione sostenibile", Patrizia Moschella (Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader) will introduce the main topics of the new Academic Master in Sustainable Innovation Communication. The programme will enrich the didactic offer of NABA’s Milan and Rome campus* from A.Y. 2022/23. This intensive course develops theories, methods, and approaches to contemporary communication. Students acquire cross-discipline skills for the analysis and cultural encoding of languages that relate to the sustainable innovation of institutions as well as of public and private companies.
Then Paolo Taticchi, will take the floor. His speech will feature a series of case studies of professionals working in this global change process. The aim is to think about the role of the communicator in accordance with sustainable changes.
The talk is part of "Ritornare alla comunità. Sostenibilità: se ne parla fin troppo, si comunica poco” - a series of conferences curated by Patrizia Moschella herself. Here, activists, scientists, philosophers, engineers and communicators have discussed and will discuss the relevance of the communicators. In particular, they focus on communicators' last task: to decode languages and translate them into community culture during eco-systemic change.
