The one-year Academic Master is an intensive study path directed at providing students with effective tools for the interpretation of art market dynamics, with particular focus on contemporary artistic languages. The first cycle of the programme is dedicated to classroom activities, workshops and visits to galleries, foundations and museums. The second is focused on internships, enabling students to experience different market areas first-hand, and on the final projects. Students will also attend study trips to Artissima in Turin and Art Basel, the sector’s most important fairs.

The Office develops relationships with companies in order to set up internship agreements, employment opportunities, and interactive projects between students and businesses.
Students will undertake a minimum internship period of 200 hours, gaining hands-on experience at a gallery, auction house, art center, foundation, museum, private collection, publishing house, or art periodical.
The Master in Contemporary Art Markets cooperates with Open Care, FM Centre for Contemporary Art (FMCCA), UniCredit, Miart, Sotheby’s, Fondazione Trussardi, Galleria Massimo De Carlo, Galleria Zero..., Collezione Iannaccone Milano, BeArt, Edicola Radezky and Exibart.
