NABA is pleased to announce to have presented, within Pitti Filati 89, one of the most important high-end textile fairs in Europe, which took place in the city of Florence from June 28th  to 30th, the result of the project born from the collaboration with PromPerù Italia, which aims to promote the use and exportable offer of alpaca fiber and yarn through the brand "Alpaca del Peru", in the institutional stand for its promotion.

Congratulations to the student Annamaria Pacilli, whose knitted garment dedicated to "Alpaca del Peru" was selected among the 11 projects proposed starting from the brief which, over the past months, has involved NABA students in a voyage in Peruvian culture and alpaca where tradition, places and visual references become central and a source of inspiration in the interpretation of materials.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Italian designer Giovanni Cavagna and NABA lecturers Denise Bonapace and Paola Galassi, with the collaboration of Francesco Albano and Gianluca Catalani, in fact, the students of the 2nd and 3rd year of the BA in Fashion Design and the 2nd year of the MA in Fashion and Textile Design of the Academy discovered a Peru where tradition, places and visual references are a source of inspiration in the interpretation of materials.
