Three NABA alumni place their emerging brand, Lessico Familiare, among the most exciting Fashion Industry projects. Riccardo Scaburri, Alice Curti and Alberto Petillo take the third position at Who Is On Next? 2022, the contest promoted by Altaroma and Vogue Italia.

The contest and the origins of Lessico Familiare

In the 18th edition of the competition, designers and new fashion labels showed their designs to a jury of experts. They had the opportunity to consolidate their standing in national and international markets. Selected brands include Lessico Familiare - a project translating the people's most intimate language through disassembled, reassembled, and often oversized items. The brand founders are three NABA alumni. Riccardo Scaburri is a designer who has worked for Max Mara and teaches at the Academy. Alice Curti is an oversize and textile fairs specialist; she is a NABA lecturer too. To conclude, Alberto Petillo is a sales advisor whose background comes from the family business and various men's tailor boutiques.
