On the occasion of the exhibition "Riccardo Dalisi. Radicalmente", hosted at MAXXI (Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo) in Rome and dedicated to one of the most multifaceted and unconventional Italian designers of recent decades, a group of NABA students from the Visual Arts Department set out to explore the sites in Naples where Dalisi - architect, designer, and artist - left his unmistakable marks.

"Dalisi Napoli Oggi": Dalisian fragments in the city

Under the guidance of Vincenzo Castella (photographer and NABA lecturer), students Davide Barberi, Edoardo Bonacina, Josefine Jyllnor collaborated, with the support of Daniele Marzorati (photographer and NABA lecturer), paying tribute to Dalisi's participatory spirit, in creating "Dalisi Napoli Oggi", a mosaic of images capturing fragments of the designer's artistic activity, shaped in the cultural and artistic milieu of Naples. Within this, the individual's perspective dissolves and immerses in the collective work, just as with Dalisi's urban installations - sculptures, lampshades, masks, decorations, furnishings, and small architectures. Whether visible or hidden, large or small, they have indeed become part of the unceasing stratification that shapes the city of Naples, blending with noble and popular, spontaneous and planned, ephemeral and permanent signs.
