NABA is pleased to announce the participation of 7 students and alumni from its Visual Arts Department in the "Xiaomi HyperCharge RestART" project, born with the aim of quickly recharging people's minds and spirits through a natural energizer, culture, on the occasion of the launch of the new Xiaomi 11T Pro.

The creative talents had the opportunity to attend 3 top-level masterclasses held by prominent names in the world of cinema, design and the fashion design system who were asked to share points of view and life experiences allowing the students to enrich their own cultural baggage through a multiplicity of creative cues.

The project came to life in the frame of the 78th Venice International Film Festival Biennale Cinema, involving the students, selected by Ilaria Bonacossa, Director of Artissima Torino, Course Advisor Leader of the Academic Master in Contemporary Art Markets of NABA, and exceptional mentor of the project.

In the first of the three masterclasses, director Mario Martone and actor Salvatore Esposito, two personalities who are symbols of innovation and the great tradition of the Italian film school, talked about their love for the big screen, a real shock therapy to make it possible to have a better life. In the frame of Milan Design Week, at Casa Xiaomi in the Brera Design District, being the partner its the main sponsor, the expert of architecture and interior design photography, Massimo Listri and Charley Vezza, Creative Director of Gufram, spoke of how the aesthetics of form, through its visual narration and industrial production, constitute a Made in Italy heritage.

Finally, on September 21st, on the occasion of Fashion Week, the Creative Director of the fashion house Etro, Kean Etro, the Fashion Director of GQ Italia, Nik Piras and Colomba Leddi, NABA Fashion Design Area Leader met the Xiaomi crew within the NABA campus in Milan. The three icons of the Italian fashion system’s panel revolved around how the need to convey and implement the sense of beauty stands at the center of their work, emphasizing the heritage of craftsmanship.

A real formative path, created in order to provide useful ideas to young students, called to produce video graphic content exclusively with the new Xiaomi smartphone to be showcased in an exhibition dedicated to digital culture in Turin on the occasion of Artissima 2021.
