From April 24^th to June 26^th 2021, in Turin’s Quartz Studio “…like ink in milk”, the first solo exhibition in Italy by the Austrian artist Gernot Wieland, realised in partnership with the Academy’s Visual Arts Department and curated by NABA lecturer Zasha Colah, will take place.

The exhibition has been the occasion to present the film “Ink in Milk”, which won the Best Film Award at VIII Kinodot Experimental Film Festival St. Petersburg, a Special Mention at the 36^th Short Film Festival Hamburg and the EMAF Media Art Award of the German Film Critics at the European Media Art Festival Osnabrück.

The exhibition was introduced by the Artist Talk “On birds, Pombero and artistic research on the disappeared”, that took place on April 23^rd live streaming on NABA zoom. The lecture by curator and NABA lecturer Zasha Colah was open to the public.
