"On its 50th anniversary, I reinterpreted the iconic Brera design as a true celebration of the individual uniqueness and of the whole's beauty; features that mark out  the Milanese district since 1968."

"This project was inspired to the name and to the artistic preparation of Pitti’s stand. The model has only been revisited just below a stylistic point of view through a colouring with an acrylic paint, thanks to that its chemical characteristic do not mix colours one with each other creating this marbled effect."

“For the project FRATELLI ROSSETTI / Pitti ss 19 I was inspired by the 70s; especially to interior design and the reconnect it to today. As a result, I designed a model suitable for a target audience to the 70s and for the Z generation trying to make it interact classicism, iconicity, craftsmanship and recurrent must-haves.”

"For this project I was inspired by the wood inlays and the design that characterizes Brera. I revisited the classic moccasin model of Fratelli Rossetti. I made a weave of strips of soft calf, in pastel colours. Even the classic tassel has been revisited, giving it a rectangular shape, without however distorting the soul of the company's product."

"I made this project revisiting the Brera model, transforming it into a sabot, a type of shoe that is really common nowadays. I was inspired by the New Baroque and its elegant and sophisticated style, using velvet as the main fabric. I decided to valorize the brand's logo, FR, that is embroidered on the upper of the shoe."

June 2018 - Fratelli Rossetti chooses Pitti Immagine in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Brera moccasin. For the anniversary of the iconic "tassels", the Art Academy becomes a stage to exhibit the distinctive features of the Milanese brand, associated with a fresh and fun mood.

Pitti Immagine will be the occasion to show the collaboration between Fratelli Rossetti and NABA Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti in Milan.

The students of the three years BA Program in Fashion Design worked on the interpretation of the iconic moccasin BRERA. The best projects will be shown under the spotlight at Fortezza da Basso.
