Two hours to become a star

The idea of a luggage equipped with a portable seat. It does not clutter and it is not an umpteenth object that occupies all the space inside the bag, because it is incorporated in the luggage itself. The concept is to use the baggage as we always do, but in the moment in which we lower the rods, the same one will become our seat.

easyFit flexible elastics help you to bring your ticket, your passport, magazines, packs of tissues, etc in a functional and safe place. Thanks to the transparent cover which you can close with its zip, everything will be kept sound/safe.

A book without pages, stuffed with foam for naps on the plane. With the head in the clouds is a project designed for children but also for all the people who love to rest their head and fall asleep sweetly during the trip, maybe accompanied by good music on headphones.

Pì is a piggy bank in which to save money for travelling. The object has the shape of a pig that has a flat back. This latter is characterized by a small table that recalls the airport flights board. Here you can enter the three digits of the next city you wish to visit, and then gradually start saving the money inside.

It supports an object, holds it in position; it is adjustable; it can be re-positioned; it connects two objects; it has ability to hold weight.

Hand baggages are always heavy and boring. The goal of the project is to overturn the vision of this object in order to make it become children-friendly. A white board for those who like to write, sketch, draw and fly, first of all, with their fantasy.

Chill Out is an anti-stress object designed for all those travellers who are afraid of flying. Thanks to its malleable material and its regular shape, it helps to alleviate the accumulated stress and to feel comfortable for the duration of the flight.

LugGage is a belt that allows to measure the maximum dimensions of the EasyJet hand baggage (45x25) in few instants.

W/HOODY is a bag that can be used as a pillow whilst traveling. Without padding, it is filled with an accessory that is always present in every hand luggage: a sweatshirt.

Pape tries to stimulate the imagination of children during the flight; it is inspired by gestures simulating an aircraft feeding a baby.

Boa is a perfect solution for those who travel frequently: it adapts efficiently to the context and to the situation in which we are traveling. Differently from any other traveling pillow, Boa is totally versatile.

Memo is a set of travel bags on which you can write with a simple pen the things to carry on the trip. Useful to organize the suitcase. If you want to reuse them, just wash them and they come back as before!

easyNap is a fan-shaped "separè" which is applied to the seat by using an elastic band. It allows you to have a comfortable support during your traveling naps!

Bubble is a luggage cover made of bubble wrap plastic sheets, meant for single use. It protects the suitcase from bumps and hits, taking inspiration from the most common gesture of packing up things.

Giramondo is a backpack that once opened completely reveals the map of the world. When opened, a child can play safely as if it were a mat. When it comes time to embark, pulling the cord to the opposite sides, the backpack closes quickly, with all the toys inside. 

A pillow design according to the behaviour of most travellers, that often find themselves sleeping on the hands for a brief rest. EasyNAP gives travellers a greater comfort, allowing them to reach every destination much more rested and fuller of energy.

Take it easy is born from the fear of flying (aerophobia) and consists in a "survival kit" to use during high altitude travels. Once opened, the case contains different objects: one anti-stress foam heart, one crosswords puzzle with a pencil and a flavoured little ball. These objects are designed to be used in 3 different moments of flight: take-off, during flight and landing.

Cento ml is a modular bottle for travellers composed of three vats separated by 100 ml. The project started analysing the procedures for airport security and the ban on carrying containers whose capability is more than 100 ml.

Albatros is a flying suitcase with GPS and a motion sensor that allows the suitcase to follow the owner.

The projects of the three winner students, guided by the BA Design Course Leaders, were presented during the Fuorisalone Design Week at the “Two hours to become a star” show, which took place at the #MILANEASY LOUNGE by Easyjet at via Tortona 37.
