NABA announces the second edition of the Rome meeting series "NABA Story First", scheduled for February. It’s the second event of the Milanese and Roman events schedule "NABA Media Explorer", devised by Vincenzo Cuccia (Media Design and New Technologies and Set Design Area Leader) to showcase the uniqueness of the Academy's Media Design and New Technologies Area. "Story First" is an initiative focusing on serial storytelling emerging from the Academic Master in Screenwriting for Series at the Rome campus, created and moderated by Francesca Staasch (Course Advisor Leader of the same Master), this year in collaboration with Cinematografo within the format "Cinematografo Incontra". It will be held at the Casa del Cinema di Roma in Villa Borghese (Largo Marcello Mastroianni 1, Rome).

The events, held monthly from February to June, will actively involve some key figures in the audiovisual industry to introduce the leading lights of cinema and television. They are intended for professionals, students, and all enthusiasts of film and series.

Scheduled "NABA Story First" appointments

Kicking off the series will be "The Bad Guy – La tv d’autore è possible?" scheduled for the upcoming February 6 at 5.30 PM, where the series creators, Giuseppe G. Stasi e Giancarlo Fontana, Ludovica Rampoldi and Davide Serino will engage in discussion with Valerio Sammarco, a journalist for Cinematografo magazine. This will be followed by three more events until June: on March 12 at 5.30 PM, there will be a session on the editorial work of the production company Cross Productions; on April 15 at the same time, there will be a focus on cinema, authorship, and Artificial Intelligence with the presence of director Radu Mihaileanu, and to conclude on May 28, there will be an in-depth look at platforms in collaboration with the WGI association.
