From the study of the palindrome "EMME" to developing a brand identity project, the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction students created a new monogram for EMME Marella. EMMEGRAM has been used to personalise a selection for Fall-Winter 2023, the "Save the Date" project, and will be reintroduced in the EMME Marella Spring-Summer 2024 collections.
EMMEGRAM: the monogram for EMME Marella
Based on the idea of palindrome and on the concepts of symmetry and specularity, EMMEGRAM is the synthesis of creativity and contemporary design. The monogram was developed by students Rebecca Taveggia, Filippo Tondini and Valeria Turati under the guidance of NABA lecturers Antonio Anaclerio and Laura Bottai. The team created a distinctive sign that enhances a series of sophisticated, informal and versatile garments. EMMEGRAM will star in the looks of the "Save the Date" project.
