An opportunity for a comprehensive navigation through the theoretical, aesthetic, sociological, political, historical, artistic, and architectural dimensions of contemporary display strategies: the symposium "To Display the Display" addresses this topic by taking into account the dynamic interplay between urban and virtual spatial realms. The event is promoted by NABA, Libera Università di Bolzano-Bozen (UniBz) and Villa Arson. It will take place in the Milan campus on October 12

"To Display the Display": panel and credits 

"To Display the Display" is an event curated by the NABA Research Centre and Innovation Hub. It opens a collaborative research agenda between NABA, Libera Università di Bolzano-Bozen and Villa Arson, French institute of higher art education. Speakers and participants will face the theme of "display" to come to shared and collective considerations, defininig a new research horizon. The programme includes two panels. From 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, "POLITICS OF DISPLAY. Bodies | Spaces | Narrations" will be held. While, from 2:45 PM to 8:00 PM, it will be the time of "HYPERMEDIATED. Display imagery | Digital | Web subcultures". Speakers will be Vincenzo Estremo (NABA lecturer), Elisa Poli (NABA Research Programme Leader), Marco Scotini (Visual Arts Department Head) and Elvira Vannini (artist and NABA lecturer), Vittorio Parisi (Head of Studies and Research - Villa Arson), Marcello Barison (Faculty of Design and Art - UniBz), Davide Ferrando (Faculty of Design and Art - UniBz) and Roberto Gigiliotti (Faculty of Design and Art - UniBz). The guests of the day are Marcelo Expósito (artist and NABA lecturer), Silvia Dal Dosso (Creative Director - Clusterduck), Anna Franceschini (Iulm University). Institutional greetings by Guido Tattoni (NABA Dean) and Luca Poncellini (NABA Design and Applied Arts Department Head) will open and close the symposium.
