NABA’s Media Design and News Technologies Area takes part to Wired Trends 2021, Visioni sull’anno che verrà, the project conceived by Wired Italia with the aim of exploring next year’s innovation trends, through a series of talks dedicated to 2021 that will be streamed on wired.it and on Wired’s social media from November 30th to December 3rd, 2020.

On November 3rd at 11.25 am, Emanuele Lomello, Course Leader of NABA’s BA in Creative Technologies, will be one of the protagonists of the Media section of Wired Trends’ programme, with the talk "Dinamiche sgarbate per didattiche innovative”.

The conversation will revolve on the theme of the consequences of the pandemic in the evolution of new digital solutions for BA’s didactics that has always held the development of new technologies for communication not only as an instrument, but as one of its main topics as well.

The talk will examine such a peculiar context, where communication processes are de-composed and re-combined, in which communication platforms, far from institutions but close to NABA students’ generations are combined with the latest techniques of virtual production implemented for cinema and TV.

A reflection on the challenges that the lockdown forces us to face: the use of old knowledge to meet new needs, the creation of  brand new physical experiences, the construction of a new normality.
