NABA International Scholarships — Rome Campus

To support talented and motivated students worldwide, NABA is offering scholarships for Bachelor of Arts programmes starting in October 2026 at the Rome Campus. Selected candidates are awarded scholarships covering up to €7,000 of the tuition fee for the first year, renewable for the 2nd and 3rd year subject to academic performance.

Who can apply

Candidates must hold a valid higher secondary school diploma — or be about to obtain it within Academic Year 2025/26 — and demonstrate knowledge of Italian or English (according to the medium of instruction of the chosen programme) at B2 level of the CEFR or above.

Scholarship values

Awards vary depending on residency status:

  • Non-EU students — scholarships of up to €7,000 against a standard annual tuition fee of €22,250.
  • EU students — scholarships of up to €7,000 assigned on an income-bracket basis, against a standard annual tuition fee of €21,850.

Scholarships cover tuition fees for the first year and are renewable for years 2 and 3, provided specific academic criteria are met.

What to submit

Your application must include: an artistic or professional portfolio of 5 to 10 projects; a motivation letter (max 500 words); a completed application form; a copy of your high school diploma or school attendance certificate; academic transcripts; a valid passport copy; and a language certificate at B1.2 level or above. All materials must be submitted in English or Italian as two separate PDF files — one for the portfolio, one for the remaining documents.

Selection criteria

Scholarships are awarded by an Admissions Jury of leading Faculty members. The Jury evaluates each candidate's portfolio and motivation letter on the basis of aesthetic awareness, composition, originality, technique and presentation quality.
