The fast pace of technological evolution and the increasing unpredictability of economic and political scenarios are changing quite radically the perspectives of young generations towards their future careers and their business endeavors. Furthermore, these changes require higher educational institutions to rethink their missions and reshape their goals, in order to train the young generations to take on future professional challenges.
The talk is intended to introduce the shift of the educational paradigm related to the innovative aspects of creative business, with a reflection about the consequences of the very fast diffusion of AI tools for the evolution of the professional market: the concern for the impact of AI on conventional jobs and the opportunities that AI and digital platforms will bring to the young creative professionals.
Architect, designer, curator, author, and lecturer, Luca Poncellini holds a PhD in the history of architecture and urban planning and is a member of the Scientific Committee of Fondazione Vico Magistretti in Milan.
His work has been exhibited internationally at the Biennale di Venezia, Triennale di Milano, ETH Zurich, Van Alen Institute (New York), and in major venues across Europe and Asia.
From 2015 to 2019 he directed C-Park, a design research unit based in Milan. Since 2019, he isHead of the Design and Applied Arts Department at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, the largest Italian Academy in the field of art, design and creative disciplines..
